ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS
On May 15, 2007, Magellan Health Services, Inc. (the “Company”), elected former Congresswoman Nancy Johnson to its Board of Directors at the Company’s annual shareholder meeting. Johnson was elected for a term expiring in 2009. The Company’s shareholders also re-elected Steven Shulman, Michael Ressner, and Michael Diament to terms expiring in 2010.
Attached and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit 99.1 is a copy of a press release dated May 16, 2007 announcing such elections.
