(b) Departure of Directors or Certain Officers

On September 26, 2013, Jennifer Lew notified Dynavax of her intention to resign, effective on October 15, 2013, as Vice President, Finance to accept a position with another company. Her responsibilities, including principal financial and accounting officer, have been assumed by Michael Ostrach, Dynavax's Vice President and Chief Business Officer, until a permanent replacement is appointed.
