Item 12. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
Smart & Final Inc. is making public disclosure of certain 2003 quarterly information to provide additional comparative detail regarding Continuing Operations. Portions of the quarterly information have been previously disclosed as a part of the Companys prior filings. The information in the Consolidated Balance Sheets as of March 23, 2003, June 15, 2003 and October 5, 2003 and the information in the Consolidated Statements of Cash Flow for the twelve weeks ended March 23, 2003, the twenty-four weeks ended June 15, 2003 and the forty weeks ended October 5, 2003 reflect certain reclassifications of discontinued operations to conform to current presentations.
