On August 23, 2005, American Vanguard Corporation issued a press release announcing that its wholly-owned subsidiary, AMVAC Chemical Corporation, received a registration from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) for Impact™. The full text of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
