On February 13, 2018, CenterPoint Energy, Inc. (the Company) and CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC (Houston Electric) filed a letter with the Public Utility Commission of Texas (the PUCT), which outlines Houston Electrics proposed approach to reflect in its filings the impacts of the comprehensive tax reform legislation informally referred to as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Subject to the PUCTs approval, Houston Electrics proposed approach includes a series of filings to be made beginning this month and culminating in the filing of a base rate application in April 2019. For additional information regarding the proposal, please refer to the letter to the PUCT attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1, which is incorporated by reference herein.
