Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
(c) On April 30, 2007 the Erie Indemnity Company entered into an Employment Agreement (Agreement) with James J. Tanous to serve as Executive Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of Erie Insurance Group. The Agreement is for a term of three years expiring April 2010. Mr. Tanous's compensation, including incentives, are detailed in the Agreement. The Chief Executive Officer may terminate the Agreement at any time with no less than 30 days written prior notice. The Employment Agreement is attached hereto and is incorporated by reference as Exhibit 99.1.
