Regulation FD Disclosure
On February 27, 2008, Wick Moorman, Chairman, President and Chief Executive
Officer, spoke at the Reuters Manufacturing Summit in Chicago.  At the summit,
Mr. Moorman said that NS thinks the U.S. housing market may not recover until
some point in 2009, but that NS expects full-year 2008 freight volumes to be up
2 percent and overall freight prices to be up around 4 percent.
