           BE Semiconductor Industries N.V. (the “Company”) is furnishing in Part I, Item I of this report certain interim unaudited financial information. In addition, the Company is furnishing in Part I, Item 2 and Part II of this report certain other information relating to its business substantially equivalent to the information that would be provided by the Company under Part I, Item 2 and Part II of Form 10-Q if the Company were required to file quarterly reports on Form 10-Q with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.
