Genesco Inc. announces plans for Hal N. Pennington, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, and James S. Gulmi, Senior Vice President-Finance and Chief Financial Officer, to make a presentation on the Company at Wachovia Securities 15th Annual Nantucket Equity Conference at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, June 29, 2005. A live audio feed of the presentation will be accessible on the Internet through the Companys website at www.genesco.com.
The presentation is currently planned to include a confirmation that management remains comfortable with the Companys previously announced earnings expectations for the quarter ending July 30, 2005, and for the fiscal year ending on January 28, 2006.
