Marketing Agencies Join for Industry Insights Podcast Episode

KidGlov, a boutique, full-service advertising, branding and content marketing agency based out of Lincoln and Omaha, Neb., recently participated in a multi-agency podcast event with Sara Nay, chief operating officer at Duct Tape Marketing, founder of Spark Lab Consulting and host of the Agency Spark Podcast; and Brad Yale, vice president of digital content planning and data at Medical Knowledge Group and host producer and editor of Agency Podcast.

The event, which included Nay, Yale and KidGlov president and chief strategist, Lyn Wineman, explored marketing and advertising agency best practices and aired on each group's respective podcasts this June, including KidGlov's Agency for Change.

"One of the ways KidGlov makes the world a better place is by creating a happy and fulfilling work culture for our team. And I had the opportunity to sit down with two agency leaders who also host podcasts to discuss lessons learned and suggestions for creating an optimum agency environment," said Wineman.

This special edition of the Agency for Change podcast discussed living into core values as an advertising agency, the importance of marketing strategy, key metrics, and ways to take care of employees.

“Taking care of people starts at the beginning," said Nay. "It comes down to hiring people that are a good fit and once they're in place, discovering ways you can continue to take care of them, collaborate and come together as a group."

Yale, an expert in marketing metrics, was host for the podcast and shared his own insights on marketing strategies.

"When it comes to metrics and data and analysis, the vast majority of people don't care about the raw numbers. It doesn't matter to them. What they care about is what the numbers actually mean," said Yale.

The full Agency for Change episode can be found on KidGlov’s website, or wherever podcasts are available.

The Agency for Change podcast from KidGlov marketing and advertising agency brings stories of people creating positive change in the world. From large companies and nonprofit organizations to small advocacy groups and solo agents for change, the program explores what inspires these changemakers, the work they're doing, and how they share their message.

"We're proud and thrilled of the Agency for Change podcast, and sharing stories of changemakers who inspire the work we do at KidGlov," said Wineman.
