Doug Ash of Doug Ash Photography is pleased to announce the release of photos and journal entries relating to his recent trip to the Pacific Northwest. The owner is a landscape photographer who sells photographs from his travels as wall art. His home city is Richmond, Virginia, but a multi-day trip visiting Portland, the Oregon Coast, Seattle, and areas in between has been a long-delayed dream of the photographer.
To capture landscape scenes during the time spent in the Northwest, Mr. Ash rented a state-of-the-art camera, the Fujifilm GFX50S II. The combination of the top-tier camera and the skills of the photographer ensured that the beautiful landscapes were captured and published on the artist's website. It is the hope of the photographer that the images will be effective in helping others to become motivated to get outdoors and explore just as he has.

In a recent interview, the photographer explained, "In addition to landscapes and nature photography, I am an active member of the local running community. If I am not working on photographic opportunities during the weekends, I am generally exploring Richmond. The brewery scene in Richmond is significant, and I enjoyed checking out some of the breweries in the Northwest as well."
In addition to the lovely images of locations as widespread as Pike's Market in Seattle, Washington to Victorian houses near Astoria, Oregon to the lava-destroyed landscape surrounding Mt. St. Helens, Doug Ash described in detail some of the major locations he visited during his travels. He also visited a cheese factory in Tillamook and hiked trails near Mount Rainier.
