Item 8.01 Other Events

 

On December 4, 2013, Plug Power Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing, among other things, certain business updates and the Company’s financial expectations for the remainder of 2013 and for 2014.  A copy of the press release is being furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.

 

On December 4, 2013, the Company conducted a business update presentation that was accessible by conference call and webcast. A copy of the presentation used during the call is being furnished as Exhibit 99.2 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.  Among other things, the presentation conveys the Company’s financial expectations for the fourth quarter of 2013 and the year 2014, growth prospects for future orders, bookings and revenues, EBITDA projections, reductions in material and services costs and alternative supply sources.
