     On October 1, 2007, Flextronics International Ltd. (“Flextronics”) issued a press release announcing that Flextronics had completed its acquisition of Solectron Corporation (NYSE: SLR) creating the most diversified and premier global provider of advanced design and vertically integrated electronics manufacturing services. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
