Item 8.01 Other Events.

Enanta Pharmaceuticals, Inc. has earned a $30 million milestone payment from AbbVie following the recent price reimbursement approval in Japan of AbbVie’s VIEKIRAX treatment for HCV infection, which had been approved for regulatory purposes by the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) in September 2015.
