On December 30, 2015, Radian Group Inc. (the “Company”) issued a news release announcing that Radian Guaranty is compliant with the Private Mortgage Insurance Eligibility Requirements (PMIERs). The PMIERs, which go into effect on December 31, 2015, are the set of requirements for private mortgage insurers to be approved to insure loans acquired by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (GSEs).
