On July 30, 2009, China Direct Industries, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release to announce the signing of a letter of intent to form Jinan Zhongsen Machinery Manufacturing Company, Limited as a foreign invested enterprise in China.  A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
