On January 8, 2007, Northeast Utilities (NU) announced that Cheryl W. Grisé, NU Executive Vice President and head of NU’s Utility Group, will be retiring at the end of the second quarter, 2007.

Effective January 15, 2007, as a result of Ms. Grisé’s retirement, NU’s current Utility Group and Transmission Group functions will report to one Executive Vice President of Operations, Leon J. Olivier.
