On February 27, 2006, Fresh Brands, Inc. (“Fresh Brands”) completed its previously announced merger with an affiliate of Certified Grocers Midwest, Inc. A copy of the press release issued by Fresh Brands today, February 27, 2006, announcing the completion of the merger is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
