On February 4, 2005, Hecla Mining Company issued a news release announcing the resignation of Joe Coors, Jr. as a member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Coors’ resignation will be effective as of February 4, 2005. The News Release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
