On September 9, 2008, Packaging Corporation of America announced that its Board had approved a
regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.30 per share on its common stock. The quarterly dividend
will be paid on October 15, 2008 to shareholders of record as of September 15, 2008. The press

reference.
