Liu Yanchen’s pipa work, “Lesser Fullness Of Grain” has been released globally

By: Get News

On April 8, ACO Liu Yanchen's latest song "Lesser Fullness Of Grain" was officially launched through the Starcast distribution platform under Kanjian Music, available on platforms such as QQ Music, NetEase Cloud Music, Huawei Music, Migu Music, Apple Music, Spotify, and more.

"Why worry so much about gains and losses, in the end, lesser fullness of grain surpasses all." — "Untitled" by Zeng Guofan

Whether on the vast journey of life or amidst the hustle of everyday noise, it’s hoped that those who hear this song can find peace and courage in the notes. Life is always full of challenges and opportunities, and in the bustling city, people often lose themselves, misled by the pursuit of fame and wealth. However, when they immerse themselves in the music of "Grain Buds," it's as if being in a tranquil field, feeling the whispers of nature, telling that although the journey of life is full of twists, having courage can always lead a way forward.

This song is not only a melody but a flow of emotions, using the crisp sound of the pipa and the melodious tune of the strings to sketch a picture of life. Between the notes, feeling the pulsation of life, every note is a call to life, and every rise and fall is a challenge to fate.

Therefore, whether facing life's setbacks or everyday worries, it’s hoped that the audience will learn, like "Lesser Fullness Of Grain", to march steadfastly towards a better future. Because only with courage in one’s mind can surpass themselves and step on the path to success and happiness.

Seeing her sister's old pipa sparked curiosity in 6-year-old ACO Liu Yanchen, leading her on the path to becoming a pipa artist.

ACO Liu Yanchen believes that music has infinite possibilities, richer than language. In an interview, she said, "Perhaps we cannot learn all the languages in the world, but we can feel the unique emotions each genre of music brings."

She believes that ethnic music should not be confined, as ethnic instruments are just a form of musical expression. As performers of ethnic instruments, they should preserve and highlight their unique characteristics while giving ethnic music more opportunities for exposure. At the same time, creation and performance should also involve more innovative ideas.

She notes that many performers currently focus more on showcasing skills or playing traditional tracks, which may distance the public from ethnic music. She hopes to explore various possibilities of expressing ethnic music, letting the world hear its sound and feel its charm. "Lesser Fullness Of Grain" is just an initial experience, and more diverse styles will be presented to the audience in the future. She aims to gradually enrich the styles of pipa playing, achieving its diversification. She says, "Take it slowly, ethnic instruments have infinite possibilities."
