PHOENIX, AZ - Gregory Proctor's transformative memoir, "Faith, Strength & Courage: A Memoir of Overcoming Adversity & Embracing Life's Journey," has been honored with the International Book Award in the self-help, motivation, and inspiration categories. The award, presented by Nim Stant of Go All In Media, recognizes books that have made a significant impact on readers' lives.
The award ceremony will take place at the Grand Book Awards Gala to be held at the Courtyard by Marriott Phoenix Downtown, Arizona, on November 2, from 5 pm to 9 pm. Although unable to attend in person, Proctor expressed his gratitude and shared his thoughts on this remarkable achievement.

The memoir explores five key themes: the transformative power of faith, the importance of cultivating inner strength, the necessity of embracing courage, finding meaning in adversity, and building supportive communities. Each chapter serves as a testament to Proctor's belief that every obstacle can be an opportunity for growth and self-realization.
Proctor's journey to authorship was inspired by his personal battle with multiple myeloma. "I wanted to inspire and empower others who may be facing their own battles, to show them that they too have the strength within them to overcome and thrive," he explained.
The book, which took six months to write and was published three months later, is currently available in English through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target, and Walmart. Expanding its reach to Spanish-speaking audiences, a Spanish version is set to be released in November 2024, with a French translation planned for Summer 2025.

Proctor is already working on his second book, "Am I Not What You Expected," due for release in May/June 2025. He is also collaborating with Polygon Health (Boston, MA) on a beta Multiple Myeloma Patient Connect platform, designed to connect patients, caregivers, places, and resources personalized to the individual.
Readers can meet Gregory Proctor at the Guadalajara International Book Fair in Mexico from November 30 to December 8, 2024, where he will be promoting both the award-winning English version and the upcoming Spanish translation.
