During a recent interview, Author and Self-Defense Instructor, Elliott Derzaph, made these comments, “We started this training format as a service to women, based on our understanding that women move differently through public space and are often less able to experience freedom and self-expression without fear for their safety. We believe that women are fully capable of self-defense and equally deserving of all life has to offer without fear.”

He goes on to say, “The ignorance and stupidity of some men should not be allowed to prevent women from realizing their full potential or from feeling safe in private or public spaces. It is better to be trained than vulnerable. Self-defense training is about the knowledge of how fighting works and how to survive. Women will learn how to utilize their internal power to develop autonomy, confidence, and empowerment.”

Women's Self-Defense by Conscious Defense reveals actual techniques that were designed to teach practical, real-world defense that can be used in a variety of situations. Readers will learn how to defend themself against common attacks and how to stay safe in dangerous situations.
