10 EH/s expansion update

Data center commissioning at Childress is progressing ahead of schedule, with commissioning and energization activities for DC 2 underway.

The remaining data centers are on track to be progressively delivered from early 2024, supporting an increase in operating hashrate from 5.6 EH/s to 10 EH/s.

The previously announced acquisition of Bitmain S21 and T21 miners are scheduled to be shipped progressively from January 2024:

  • Current: 5.6 EH/s operating
  • Shipping Q1 2024: 2.7 EH/s Bitmain S21/T21 miners
  • Shipping Q2 2024: 1.6 EH/s Bitmain T21 miners

Once installed, these miners will improve overall fleet efficiency from 29.5 J/TH to 24.8 J/TH.

Having now completed a targeted equity raising program, the Company does not anticipate requiring additional capital to fund the expansion to 10 EH/s.

High-performance compute update

Delivery and installation of 248 NVIDIA H100 GPUs to service the generative AI market has commenced at our Prince George site.

Customer conversations with respect to both cloud and colocation opportunities continue to progress positively.

The Company will provide further updates as appropriate.

Growth

Planning is underway in respect of additional growth initiatives (~H2 2024 onwards).

The Company’s near-term focus is on commissioning and delivering the 10 EH/s and NVIDIA H100 GPUs to market.
