‘Rosa The Little Ant And The Great Big Elephant’ will help children and young adults overcome some of the horrifying challenges that they face in today’s society.
Children and young adults will pick up on the theme that it is not the size of the body but the size and persistence of the heart. No matter how small they are, they can rise up and defend their rights even if the creatures are bigger than themselves. Through Rosa's brave journey, young readers will be inspired to confront their fears and anxieties, and to face everyday challenges with resilience and determination.
"ROSA THE LITTLE ANT AND THE GREAT BIG ELEPHANT" tells the story of Rosa, a courageous little red ant whose home is destroyed by elephants.
After a long and arduous journey, Rosa and her ant friends stumbled upon a magnificent acacia tree. Rosa and the rest of the ant colony, built a new ant village nestled among the branches of the beautiful acacia tree. Rosa shares a close bond with the acacia tree. The little ant feeds on the sweet nectars of the acacia tree. The acacia became Rosa’s safe and cozy home.
One day as Rosa lay on one of the branches of her beautiful acacia tree, she was startled by the sudden appearance of an elephant. Rosa watched as the elephant munched away on the branch on which she lay. Rosa fell to the ground. Rosa then vowed to protect her home from all harmful creatures. Every day Rosa built up her strength by jumping on the branches of the acacia tree. She was ready.
One night, the rumble of an elephant echoed through ant village. Fear gripped the hearts of the other ants, causing them to scurry and hide in their secret nooks. Rosa stood tall. "You will not destroy my home!" she screamed. With unwavering courage and determination, Rosa confronted the elephant. She was ready to face whatever came her way. Will she be able to summon enough strength and resilience to stop the creature from destroying her home once again?
