Jason Halbert, Former Snap Inc. Executive, Makes Impact on Youth Sports in Alabama

By: PRLog

Jason Halbert, known for his executive consulting roles for some of the most disruptive technology companies of the past decade, has made a profound impact on youth sports in Fairhope, Alabama.

FAIRHOPE, Ala. - Jan. 6, 2022 - PRLog -- Since returning to Fairhope after service as a C Suite executive for five years at Snap Inc. (Snapchat's parent company), Halbert has shifted his focus toward making a positive impact in youth sports leagues coaching 11 teams over the past three years.

Halbert implements a unique coaching style incorporating the same behavioral science principles he uses to shape executive teams through his company, 3Back Consulting.

"Whether you're a point guard on a youth basketball team or a C-level executive of a Fortune 500 company, elite performance requires similar qualities," explains Halbert.

In addition to "intense passion for personal growth, voracious interest in learning, and self-discipline," says Halbert, great athletes and executives alike possess traits that are in even shorter supply among high-performers.

"These are resilience, acceptance of criticism, and teamwork," says Halbert, as he goes on to explain the simple 3Back system he uses to ingrain these concepts into youth sports teams.

Ask any of Halbert's athletes and you'll get the same enthusiastic answer:

"Bounce back, feedback, and have each other's back."

This system teaches young athletes the less-valued but most important qualities of realizing one's own potential. These include a healthy ownership of failure oriented toward learning, effectively receiving and integrating feedback, having a very high frustration tolerance, and being there for your teammates, regardless of circumstance.

"These qualities are important for anything you do in life," explains Halbert. "Although they may not realize it, these kids are also learning how to be great decision makers who will be action-oriented in life."

Halbert's soccer teams finished the 2021 season with a combined record of 12-4-1.

Over the past four seasons, basketball teams coached under Halbert boast an impressive record of 32-3.

Halbert also serves as CEO of the new men's telehealth company Apollo Health Products.
