Cultural Kare Magazine is celebrating its first-year anniversary with the release of a special edition on October 7th, 2024. Launched by visionary Tephanie Delaney, Cultural Kare has quickly become a prominent platform for uplifting and showcasing Black excellence, culture, and community voices across America.
Since its debut, Cultural Kare Magazine has featured groundbreaking editions that have resonated deeply within the Black community. The inaugural issue, which highlighted the Twin Cities Hair & Beauty Expo's Rise of Black Hollywood, featured none other than the Dutchess of Ink on the cover, setting the tone for a year filled with powerful storytelling and cultural celebration.
In February 2024, Cultural Kare commemorated Black History Month by honoring renowned civil rights attorney and activist Nekima Levy-Armstrong on the cover. This special edition focused on the power of Black leadership and the ongoing fight for justice and equity in America.
The magazine continued its mission of celebrating Black stories with the release of the Black Fatherhood Edition, an issue dedicated to honoring the often-overlooked contributions of Black fathers in America. This poignant edition featured actor and former NFL player Stevie Baggs Jr. as the cover story, highlighting the significance of strong, present Black fathers in today's society.
Now, Cultural Kare prepares to mark its first-year anniversary with an exciting and highly anticipated edition set to release on October 7th. While the cover story remains a surprise, readers can expect yet another inspiring feature that embodies the magazine's commitment to cultural empowerment, representation, and Black excellence.
Founder and Editor-in-Chief Tephanie Delaney expresses her gratitude for the incredible support over the past year: “This journey has been a labor of love. Cultural Kare is about giving voice to stories that matter and creating a space where Black culture is celebrated in its fullness. Our anniversary edition is a reflection of our dedication to this mission, and we can’t wait to share what’s next.”
The anniversary issue promises to continue the magazine's legacy of impactful storytelling, shining a light on the beauty, resilience, and creativity within the Black community. As the magazine enters its second year, Cultural Kare remains committed to pushing the boundaries of representation, sharing untold stories, and fostering a sense of pride and unity.
