JSB Financial Inc. Announces Promotion of Dustin T. Branner to Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer

JSB Financial Inc. (OTC Pink: JFWV), the holding company of Jefferson Security Bank, is proud to announce the promotion of Dustin T. Branner to Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer of Jefferson Security Bank. In this critical leadership position, Branner will continue building on his successes in delivering exceptional financial solutions to our customers, while providing leadership to our lending team.

With over 20 years of experience in commercial lending, financial advising and investing, management, and supervision, Branner brings a wealth of experience and expertise and has been an integral part of the Jefferson Security Bank team for almost 16 years. Branner joined the bank in 2005 as a Commercial Lender, while he left to explore other opportunities in 2013, he returned in 2017 as a Senior Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer.

Throughout his banking career, Branner has held various roles including Commercial Banker, Commercial Relationship Manager and Investment Consultant, Licensed Financial Advisor Representative, Problem Loan Workout and Other Real Estate Owned Officer, Licensed Financial Specialist, Senior Account Executive III, Sales Associate and Engineering Work Center Supervisor.

Branner has a Bachelor of Finance from University of Maryland UC. He also attended Eastern Mennonite University in Virginia and Hesston College in Kansas. He held FINRA Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 Securities Licenses and attended the American Bankers Association (ABA) Graduate Commercial Lending School, ABA National Commercial Lending School, RMA-ECU Commercial Real Estate Lending School and RMA-ECU Commercial Lending School.

Branner joined the United States Navy in 1995. After completing boot camp at the Naval Station Great Lakes in Chicago, IL, he completed engineering school and was recognized as the Honor Graduate having received the highest academic score in his class. In 1996, Branner’s first assignment was onboard the USS New Orleans (LPH 11) in San Diego, CA. In 1997, Branner completed a WestPac cruise, which included boarding Marines from the 31st MEU(SOC) based out of Okinawa, Japan. During this time, he participated in Operation Tandem Thrust '97 in Townsville, Australia and weathered “Cyclone Justin” before returning to San Diego. Later in 1997, Branner was assigned to the Pre-Commissioning Unit (PCU) of a United States Navy amphibious assault ship, The Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). After 4 years of service, Branner was honorably discharged from the United States Navy.

Branner has lived in Martinsburg for 19 years and is married to his high school sweetheart, Laura Branner. They have two children: Dylan and Alexis. As a family, they enjoy attending sporting events and trips to the beach.

As an active member of our community, Branner volunteers his time as a member of the Martinsburg Rotary Noon Club and is a prior board member of the Eastern Panhandle Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He is the Treasurer of the Finance Committee and Chair of the Deacon Board at Fellowship Bible Church in Shenandoah Junction. He is also a member of the Leadership Harrisonburg Rockingham County Chamber and an alumnus of Leadership Berkeley of the Martinsburg-Berkeley County Chamber.
