“The documentary, ‘We, the Vulnerable of LA,’ is an eye, conscious, and heart opener for service providers and the public in general,” said Cynthia Davis, MPH, Domestic Vice Chair of AHF’ Board of Directors. “This film aims to bring awareness and to enhance the knowledge of the needs of the most vulnerable population in the City of LA. We are screening this short film (approx. 24 min.) with discussion after the presentation about how we can all work together to decrease the numbers of people on the streets and to give them better services,”
According to Associated Press, the 2024 homeless count for Los Angeles County found 75,312 homeless individuals. This represented a 0.27% decrease from 2023 and was the first time in years that the county has not seen an increase in homelessness.
