Deployment of AI-driven RUCKUS Technology Marks Initial Wi-Fi 7 Connectivity in a Major Stadium

Together, CommScope (NASDAQ: COMM), a global leader in network connectivity, and Boldyn Networks (Boldyn), a leading neutral host provider in the United States and globally, today announced the deployment of Wi-Fi 7 indoor access points in selected areas of Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida. A 65,000-seat venue, Camping World Stadium is home to world-class events including sporting games and concerts. Initially deployed in press and VIP areas, the RUCKUS® R770 Wi-Fi® access points provide what is believed to be the first Wi-Fi 7 deployment in a major stadium.

The outcome of deploying the solution shows an increase in throughput by 60% with Wi-Fi 7, reaching 900Mbps, when compared to the areas with Wi-Fi 6E, and over 4 times faster than previous generations, with latency drastically reduced by 75%. This measurable improvement is key to the introduction of new use cases with AR and real-time entertainment and social experiences.
