BTIG Grows Capital Introduction Team

BTIG announced today that its Capital Introduction team has hired Gerry Reilly and Colin Morse as Directors and Allison Walters as an Associate. They will be based in the firm’s New York office and will report to Rachel Lucas, Head of Capital Introduction. In their respective roles Mr. Reilly and Mr. Morse will collaborate with BTIG’s Prime Brokerage and Outsource Trading divisions to introduce clients to a wider audience of vetted members of the investment community.

“We are thrilled to welcome Gerry, Colin and Allison to the BTIG Capital Introduction team,” said Ms. Lucas. “Each of them brings unique expertise and energy that will further distinguish our client service and strengthen our position as a leader in the industry. Our investor network will grow significantly because of the relationships Gerry and Colin bring to the team.”

Mr. Reilly brings over a decade of experience to the firm and will expand the reach of the BTIG Capital Introduction team by focusing on the mid-Atlantic and southeast regions of the U.S. Prior to joining BTIG, Mr. Reilly worked on the Capital Introduction team at Morgan Stanley where he partnered with hedge fund clients across strategies and hedge fund allocators to assist in capital raising needs. Previously, Mr. Reilly spent eight years in institutional equity sales at Alliance Bernstein.

Most recently, Mr. Morse was a Director within Capital Raising at BTIG, where he managed relationships with private equity, private credit and venture funds. In his new role, he will leverage this experience while also developing a coverage strategy for investors located outside of the United States. Similarly, Ms. Walters moved laterally within BTIG. In her new role, she will support the efforts of the entire Capital Introduction team.

BTIG’s Capital Introduction group facilitates introductions between BTIG hedge fund clients and investors and then continues to work closely with them to build relationships over time. BTIG’s global network of accredited investors includes family offices, strategic investors, fund-of-funds, registered investment advisors, OCIOs, endowments, foundations, and other institutional investors. Over the past 12 months, BTIG Capital Introduction professionals have facilitated over 3,000 manager-to-investor introductions.
