The 2024 Beijing International Audiovisual Conference, organized by the Beijing Municipal Radio and Television Bureau and the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) Administrative Committee, will be held in the Beijing E-Town from December 12th to December 13th. The theme of this year's conference,“AI:Where Media Meets the Future,”emphasizes its international scope, forward-looking and innovative nature. The conference will feature three major sections: International Cooperation, Industrial Revitalization, and Science and Technology Empowerment. It will also include 1 opening ceremony and main forum, 14 themed forums and salons, and 5 supporting activities.
The International Cooperation section will feature various events, including the China-EU Audiovisual Artificial Intelligence Industry Cooperation Forum, the Film and Television International Co-Production Seminar and Exchange, the Belt and Road Audiovisual Service Trade Forum, the Urban International Communication Innovation Forum, and the New Audiovisual International Communication Deans’Forum.
The Industrial Revitalization section will feature various events, including the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Audiovisual Industry Cluster Forum, the Audiovisual Industry Classification Standards Seminar (closed-door), the Audio-Visual China Investors’ Conference, and the National Intelligent Filming and Production Industry Salon.
The Science and Technology Empowerment section will feature various events, including the In-Vehicle“Core”Audiovisual Innovation Salon, the New Audiovisual Special Effects Production Salon, the Immersive Ultra-High-Definition Film and Television Integration Development Forum, and the Smart Radio and Television: Key Technologies and Unicorn Salon.
The 2024 Beijing International Audiovisual Conference will feature over 10 thematic forums and salons, highlighting trending topics and critical aspects of audiovisual content, technology, and art. Experts and scholars from more than 20 countries and regions, including the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, India, Kazakhstan, New Zealand, Kenya, etc., will convene to discuss the impact and challenges posed by the application of artificial intelligence and other technological innovations, analyze future development trends, foster a shared vision for development, and enhance international exchanges and cooperation.
The conference's opening ceremony and the main forum will feature achievements presentations and guest speeches. Announcements will cover initiatives such as the “Jing Langya” Talents and the China Innovative Image Competition. Renowned experts and scholars will share insights on the achievements of the audiovisual industry and their thoughts on its future development. The “Encounters” Partnership Plan will be unveiled at the Urban International Communication Innovation Forum. Several roadshow projects will be hosted at the Audio-Visual China Investors’ Conference, with a project meeting area set up by the Beijing E-Town. The series of Audiovisual Beijing activities and the closing ceremony of the Conference will showcase the achievements of the Beijing TV and Film International Screening over the past decade.
During the conference, Beijing E-Town will organize supporting activities with novel forms, strong interactivity, and high participation. These include the Audiovisual Conference • Yicheng’s Night Concert, the Audiovisual AI Creation Competition, “AI: Where Media Meets The Future”Trip to Yizhuang, Yicheng “Audiovisual +” Experience Day, and the Audiovisual Innovation Achievement Conference. An audiovisual corridor will be set up at the venue of the conference to showcase the innovative achievements resulting from the integration of artificial intelligence and audio-visual.
