Zevrix Solutions announces the release of InPreflight 3.0.33, a feature update to company's document collection and preflight solution for Adobe InDesign. Described as "delightfully simple to use" by Macworld magazine, InPreflight is an all-in-one solution to check multiple InDesign files for errors automatically, package them for output, and ship to final destination. The new update adds the ability to flag HEIC images in InDesign documents and fixes appearance issues on macOS Sonoma.

Toronto, ON, Canada - April 11, 2024 - Zevrix Solutions today announces the release of InPreflight 3.0.33, a feature update to company's document preflight and packaging tool for Adobe InDesign. Praised as "delightfully simple to use" by Macworld, InPreflight is an all-in-one solution to automatically batch preflight InDesign files, collect them for output, and ship to their final destination. The app enables print and graphics professionals to save disk space by batch-packaging multiple files, prevent costly mistakes by exposing hidden problems, and reduce production time and costs.

The new version adds HEIC image format to the list of preflight preset rules for InDesign links. HEIC, standing for High Efficiency Image Container, is the image format traditionally used by Apple across its mobile devices. Many InDesign users prefer to be warned about HEIC links in their documents in order to convert such files into more universally recognized image formats recommended for superior output quality.

In addition, the new update allows users to sort InDesign document colors by their preflight status, fixes a stall that could occur during packaging, improves accuracy of image copying progress, and addresses appearance issues on macOS Sonoma 14.3 and later.

InPreflight continues to be a comprehensive, cost-effective, and user-friendly solution, tailor-made for prepress bureaus, printers, and publishers. The app offers a wide range of time-saving features:

Batch-packaging:

-Batch package InDesign documents automatically.

-Streamline your workflow by collecting all shared links into a single folder.

-Transmit packaged jobs to FTP and other servers.

Quality Control:

-Preflight presets that suit the unique requirements of different projects.

-Check InDesign fonts, colors, and links for common errors.

-Unearth hidden issues such as image compression and embedded fonts.

Moreover, InPreflight provides graphic preflight reports, including a detailed paragraph styles report for typography professionals, the ability to print and save them as PDF.

Pricing and Availability:

InPreflight 3 can be purchased from Zevrix website for US$99.95 as well as from authorized resellers and Adobe Exchange. Trial version is available for download. Licensed users of earlier versions can upgrade to InPreflight 3 for $50. InPreflight 3 requires macOS 10.12-14.x and Adobe InDesign CS6-2024.
