HR Training For Professionals Laid Off In 2022 | Partnership Event Announced

As layoffs sweep across the US, human resources training firm HR Certified announces a strategic partnership with HR Education Network to enhance the professional development of human resources professionals.

The first effort in the new partnership will be a special event for HR professionals who have been laid off in 2022. The upcoming event will not have any associated fees, and enrollments will be available via both companies’ websites.

HR Certified and HR Education Network share the common goal of upskilling HR professionals across the US. The new strategic partnership will expand the capabilities of each organization, both in terms of the variety of instruction offered and geographical presence. As a result, HR Certified will now provide onsite training in Atlanta, Chicago, and Dallas.

A recent Business Insider report highlights the scope and scale of layoffs that have occurred in 2022. Amazon is expected to shed as many as 10,000 workers from multiple divisions, including HR, devices, and retail. This adds to the 50% workforce cuts recently announced by Twitter and staff reductions at Peloton, Netflix, and Shopify.

The upcoming joint event from HR Certified and HR Education Network is designed for those HR professionals impacted by these layoffs. More details about the event will be streamed on Wednesday, November 16, via LinkedIn Live, Facebook Live, and YouTube Live.

HR Certified and HR Education Network has planned several follow-on efforts as part of the new strategic partnership. These include expanding training offerings to suit individual clients’ unique learning styles. As mentioned, HR Certified is also enhancing its service model to include professional coaching and onsite instruction.
