Global non-profit People to People Foundation has updated its efforts to raise funds and provide support for orphans living in Poland and India who are in need of consistent access to clean drinking water and quality education.

With this update, the foundation hopes to shift its already successful global charity work to focus on orphaned children living in India and Poland. To date, People to People Foundation has raised and contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to support the education and health of orphaned children in various places around the world, including Afghanistan, California, and now India and Poland.

A major part of People to People Foundation's work focuses on ensuring that children living in orphanages have access to clean drinking water, which is often a challenge for underfunded orphanages. When partnered with St. Joseph's Orphanage in Andhra Pradesh, India, the organization funded the construction of a drinking water well on the property to be used for consumption and crop or garden irrigation. This partnership also provided sufficient funding for the orphanage to procure more land so that it could expand its facilities and house more orphaned children.
Education is a central focus of People to People Foundation's work, and it has provided funding to cover orphans' school tuition, books, uniforms, and other necessary supplies. In Osweicim, Poland, similar funding was given to the Family Assistance Center for vocational training to help prepare local orphans to be contributing community members.
