Morven to host the 2022 Princeton Festival

PRINCETON, N.J. - May 27, 2022 - PRLog -- Morven Museum & Garden will be the home of the 2022 Princeton Festival from Fri, June 10 through Sat, June 25. A state-of-the-art performance tent will be set up in Morven's parking lot. Concerts run nightly, featuring opera and orchestral, cabaret and jazz nights, plus Baroque performances across the street at Trinity Episcopal Church. Morven's parking lot will be unavailable from Mon, May 30 through Fri, July 1. Morven will remain open during regular Museum hours, and guests may alternatively park in the Municipal lot neighboring the Museum, at 1 Monument Drive. There will also be signage on property.

During this time, visitors can take a closer look at Morven's latest exhibit, Ma Bell: The Mother of Invention in New Jersey by meeting Curators Elizabeth Allan and Jesse Gordon inside our galleries on Fri, June 24 at 2 p.m. This informal afternoon event offers an exciting opportunity to learn more about important moments in NJ's telecommunications history. Tickets are $15 for General Admission and $10 for Morven Members. It is also a peak time to enjoy our gardens, which are free to visit.

Morven Museum & Garden, 55 Stockton St, Princeton, NJ is open Weds through Sun from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

ABOUT MORVEN MUSEUM & GARDEN


Most historic sites celebrate one notable resident, Morven is unique in that it was home to many remarkable people. Built in the 1750s and home to one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, Morven was home to five generations of Stocktons, then Robert Wood Johnson, Jr. before becoming  New Jersey's first Governor's Mansion and home to five New Jersey governors, their families and staffs; witnessing nearly 300 years of history. Morven is located at 55 Stockton Street, Princeton, NJ and is open to the public Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The gardens are open daily until dusk.
