John Cobb has two children, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He is a former writer for the National Baptist Convention USA Inc. Sunday School Publishing Board. Minister Cobb has earned several Certificates of learning from the former Ligonier School of Theology (Canada). He is a preacher, keynote and conference speaker, and workshop facilitator. He is the author of “From Death to Life; an overview of the foundational doctrine of the Christian Faith.”
