Duke Energy-backed utility reform compromise on fast track to approval

Two Senate committees approved the utility reform bill Tuesday with a single nay vote. And after a quick spin through the Senate Rules Committee Wednesday, it is slated for a floor vote Thursday and could be acted on by the House in a single vote Friday.
