March 21, 2022 - Canadian-based Non-Profit-Organisation, We Love UA Canada, is calling on all lovers of freedom to join the people of Ukraine in their fight against Russian invaders. The international organization says its mission is to aid, protect, and give a new start to victims of war.
On the 24th of February 2022, the people of Ukraine awoke to find themselves face to face with the largest conventional military attack in Europe in the last 80 years. Before that, the Russian government had gradually increased its aggressive attack on the country's sovereignty, beginning with an 8-year-long frozen war in the eastern part of the country, Donbas, and the subsequent annexation of the Crimean peninsula.
Just when everyone thought Russia's dastardly actions couldn't get worse, the Russian leader proceeded to launch a full-scale invasion and bombing of all major cities across Ukraine. The resultant effect was the start of an unimaginable humanitarian crisis that has killed hundreds, displaced tens of thousands, and forced millions of Ukrainian citizens to seek safety in makeshift bomb shelters.
“Millions of innocent Ukrainians are in a struggle of survival in the cities that have been destroyed by the Russian military. Countless residents are left with no water, food, electricity, or heat. Basic medications have become a luxury. Hospitals, clinics, community centers, and mobile medical units are lacking first aid kits for life-threatening injuries as well as for ongoing treatments.”
We Love UA Canada has described the conflict as a fight for sovereignty all over the world and is calling on all who believe in the right to independence to make donations that will assist the people of Ukraine and support those affected by Russia's inhuman and merciless attack.
