A Summer Tour Starting in Orlando, Florida
With the FIFA World Cup now just months away, El Tri already has one eye on its first match against Poland on November 22 as Hiriving Lozano and co. try to mastermind their way out of a difficult group that also contains Argentina and Saudi Arabia. Their summer season of friendlies begins on April 27 as they take on Guatemala at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL.
The world’s ninth-best team then heads to Arlington, TX, on May 28 where they will face the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the AT&T Stadium. Their third game of the U.S. tour sees them head to Glendale, AZ, for arguably the toughest game of all as they take on Luis Suarez and the other Uruguay stars at the State Farm Stadium on June 2.
Just three days later, El Tri is back in action against South American opposition as they take on Ecuador at Soldier Field in Chicago, Il. The Mexico team then heads off for back-to-back Concacaf Nations League matches against Suriname and Jamaica before returning to American soil on August 31 to complete their tour in Atlanta, GA, as they welcome Paraguay to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
All five matches are set to play a crucial role in the team’s FIFA World Cup preparations and fans can give their stars the perfect send-off by attending the matches live.
