The former CEO of a South Carolina bank, Russell Laffitte, was indicted for the first time Wednesday alongside Alex Murdaugh and Murdaugh’s close lawyer friend, Cory Fleming, in connection to an alleged money laundering scheme related to the family of a deaf quadriplegic man named Hakeem Pinckney.
