The announcement comes amid growing awareness of the importance of quality nutrition for optimal cognitive development.

“Research shows that poor nutrition due to an unbalanced diet can hamper brain development, negatively impacting information processing, language skills, and behavioral development in children,” explained a company spokesperson. “Ivy Kids BrainBites Nutrition program is our commitment to doing our part to combat these negative effects of poor nutrition.”

The centers promote healthy eating habits by serving a variety of freshly-prepared meals, eliminating processed foods whenever possible, and adapting the meals to cater to dietary restrictions and most food allergies. The meals are prepared in nut-free kitchens and contain no food dyes.

The BrainBites program is available at no additional cost to families.

About Ivy Kids Early Learning Center

A premier early childhood education provider, Ivy Kids Early Learning Center is committed to fostering optimal children’s development by combining modern curricula with a fun, safe, and nurturing learning environment.

The Ivy Prep Curriculum offers activities that engage each of the 8 different intelligence types: kinesthetic, naturalistic, linguistic, intrapersonal, interpersonal, musical, visual, and logical. For more details, visit https://www.ivykids.com/the-ivy-kids-difference

The program follows the theories of Harvard Professor Dr. Howard Gardner, who believed that individuals are gifted in different ways. By incorporating different learning approaches, the centers aim to develop the unique abilities of each child, as well as helping parents identify strengths and interests.

As part of the center’s Enrichment Programs, children benefit from hands-on activities including gardening, educational technologies, and music and movement. The Enrichment Room allows children to engage in theme-related age-differentiated science experiments following the pre-K TEKS guidelines.

Along with infant through pre-K educational programs, Ivy Kids offers before and after-school services, as well as summer and holiday camps. Founded in 2005, the company has since grown to encompass 19 facilities in and around the Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas areas. Tours of individual facilities are available on request.

All Ivy Kids centers are committed to ensuring high standards of security and safety. All classrooms are equipped with WatchMeGrow camera systems, allowing parents to monitor children from computers or mobile devices. Premises are secured by auto-lock doors and gates, which limit access to registered family and friends.
