Singapore-based Web3Tec PTE Ltd (CEO: Tony Wakiyama) is pleased to announce the GameFi ecosystem Murasaki7, and its first Play and Earn puzzle game, M7 PuzzleRPG. The M7 PuzzleRPG game is to be announced for Beta release in Q4 this year as part of the Murasaki7 ecosystem.
Murasaki7 was released in early 2020 as an easy-to-use puzzle game, and has gained popularity as an exhibit at the Tokyo Game Show. The NFT-based version is built on the Binance Smart Chain. In addition, the Genesis Hero NFT, which can be used commonly across multiple games in the Murasaki7 ecosystem, will also be available soon.
M7 PuzzleRPG requires users to build and command a team against enemies and complete various stages of adventure. The hero can be charged by blasting cubes with NFT boosters, and there are special items too, such as rockets, bombs and prisms. Gamers can blend these for better, more explosive results! The rewards from all victories are earned in Gaianite tokens.
In the traditional mobile game market, puzzle games account for 8% of global mobile game revenue and are the most popular game genre in the US, UK, Japan, and South Korea. Blockchain games, especially Play-to-Earn games became known around the world in 2021 with Axie Infinity, and from 2022 Move-to-Earn games such as StepN became more popular.
“However, there are currently no notable puzzle games in blockchain games or Play-to-Earn games. Therefore, we have decided to shut down the old game in the third quarter of 2021, and have been working to renew the game as a NFT Play and Earn mobile puzzle game, which we have now released,” said Tony Wakiyama, CEO, Web3Tec.
The advisors for the game and the Murasaki7 include former Square Enix U.S. COO, Daishiro Okada. The gaming ecosystem is being developed by Web3Tec, whose aim is to bring harmony across gaming communities and offer innovative and new gaming and entertainment experiences.
