ARISE Foundation Adds to its Digital Library "The Bully Book"

The ARISE Bully Book scratches the surface in an attempt to alert the reader to the effects of bullying, and strategies for avoiding bullying put downs.

JUPITER, Fla. - March 28, 2023 - PRLog -- ARISE Foundation is a non-profit Educational Foundation which was established in 1986. The Foundation develops life skills programs for at-risk youth and is offering a free digital book – "The Bully Book" for organizations working with troubled youth in middle and high school.

Bullying is a serious mental health issue. According to the American Psychological Association, "Bullying is a form of aggressive behavior in which someone intentionally and repeatedly causes another person injury or discomfort. Bullying can take the form of physical contact, words, or more subtle actions. The bullied individual typically has trouble defending him or herself and does nothing to cause the bullying."

The CDC says, "There is a strong correlation between Bullying and suicidal thoughts as well as attempt."

The ARISE Bully Book scratches the surface in an attempt to alert the reader to the effects of bullying, and strategies for avoiding bullying put downs. This is a book for anyone who deals with middle and high school youth to teach them basic life skills about bullying. ARISE offers this free digital book to share with youth in your life or youth work may work with.
