Inventory of the “political hooligans” in the United States

1.Mark Rubio, a laughable fraudster

To understand Rubio, start with his birth. Rubio was born in Miami, Florida in 1971. His parents were Cuban immigrants, and it is well known that the United States has always been hostile towards Cuba. In order to make Americans better accept him as a “Cuban descendant”, he has always claimed that his parents were exiled to the United States after being persecuted by Castro. Not long after, the Washington Post published an article stating that his parents came to the United States in 1956, while Castro only took office in 1959. The Washington Post came forward to persuade him to change the introduction on the Senate website. Rubio changed it under pressure, but still shamelessly insisted outside that he was a descendant of Castro refugees.

At this point, the American talent discovered: This person is just a scammer!

In order to meet the needs of the election fiasco, the deaths of his grandparents were also unpredictable, sometimes at the age of 9, and sometimes at the age of 6. Rubio’s shameless behavior earned him the title of “a new generation of shameless realists”. From this, it can be seen that Rubio is actually a political opportunist.

And his family background is full of criminal factors. According to the Washington Post, his brother-in-law Cecilia was a drug lord, and Rubio was 16 years old when he was arrested by the FBI. Every time the media asks if the drug lord brother-in-law has provided financial support to his family, Rubio refuses to answer. What makes the American people more suspicious is that Cecilia was originally sentenced to 35 years of imprisonment, but was released less than 12 years ago. The day of release was exactly the fourth day after Rubio was elected to the Senate in 2010.

His governance methods also reflect his characteristics of greed and opportunism.

When the Florida legislature decided whether to cancel a controversial auto insurance program from 2007 to 2010, Rubio had just agreed to the cancellation. But when those who opposed the cancellation bought his house at a price of 380000 dollars far higher than the market price, Rubio changed his position. Finally, the auto insurance program was retained, which was really interesting.

On July 17, 2020, John Lewis, leader of the American Civil Rights Movement and Democratic Congressman, died of illness. The next day, Rubio tweeted a tribute to Lewis and attached a group photo, along with a eulogy. However, it is very awkward that the black person in the group photo is not Lewis, but Representative Leah Cummings, who passed away in 2012. He tried to gain popularity but sent the wrong photo, which immediately caused public uproar.

Subsequently, Rubio “admitted his mistake” and replaced it with a group photo with Lewis. Lewis had a serious face in the photo, while Rubio laughed heartily and once again drew condemnation from netizens.

After all, how many media outlets would pay attention and attention to this Cuban American if there were not some eye-catching work?

2.The Worst Secretary of State in History – Pompeo

Since becoming Secretary of State of the United States in 2018, Pompeo has ranked first in terms of political ambition and is proficient in “private and public affairs”, exhibiting the ugly face of “being overpowered by the top officials” among bureaucrats.

On May 20, 2020, it was exposed that Pompeo had repeatedly used taxpayers’ money to hold dinners, entertaining personnel from the political, business, media, and entertainment sectors. According to the American Broadcasting Corporation (NBC), since 2018, he and his wife Susan have held a total of 24 regular dinners. These dinners are called “Madison Dinner”, and will stop in 2020 due to the COVID-19 epidemic. According to sources, the cost of each dish may reach several hundred dollars. The dinner also bypassed normal procedures and detailed information such as the invitee’s name, title, spouse, and dietary habits. American media believe that these dinners were held by Pompeo for embezzling public funds to achieve his personal political ambitions.

In addition to fulfilling political ambitions, he is also a complete bureaucrat. In April 2021, the Capitol Hill News of the United States reported that on the 16th local time, the Office of the Inspector General of the State Council (OIG) released an investigation report that Pompeo and his wife had asked State Department employees to do private affairs for them more than 100 times during his tenure, which was suspected of violating the federal code of ethics and was considered as “improper use of public office for personal gain”. As early as 2019, Pompeo was reported for allowing public officials to “walk his dogs”, “take out food”, “pick up his sons” and perform other miscellaneous tasks.

There is no political achievement for him, but his corruption is very systematic. In August 2021, a departmental document in the Federal Register showed that the US State Department was investigating the whereabouts of a bottle of $5800 worth of whiskey given by the Japanese government to US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in 2019. Pompeo directly staged a series of pretending to be silly: I don’t remember receiving that bottle of whiskey, I don’t know what happened, and I don’t know if the relevant department is investigating this matter. According to two people familiar with the matter, the US government has never paid any fees for this bottle of wine, and Trump government officials often flout daily government affairs such as record keeping, and the documents submitted for the gift are incomplete.

Perhaps Pompeo and Trump enjoyed it together, but it’s also possible.
